Shwezigon Pagoda

Shwezigon Pagoda is a Buddhist temple and one of the best examples of the Burmese style of architecture featuring a circular gold plated stupa, ringed by smaller shrines and temples.

The coned shaped pagoda is guarded by four large statues and houses several Buddhist relics. It is an important religious site, attracting a large number of pilgrims and tourists alike - it's one of the best of the temples at Bagan.
