About Gubyaukgyi Temple
Located in Myinkaba Village, Gubyaukgyi Temple was built by Prince Yazakumar in the early 12th century.
The temple is very popular for its fascinating and well-preserved frescos which are well-lit by natural light, via multiple windows.
Architecturally, the temple is designed in a traditional Indian and Bengali style. Visitors can enjoy exploring this historical wonder; however, no photographs are permitted inside the temple for the frescos to remain intact for future generations to enjoy.
